While ASL is a beautiful visual language, some of the ignorant population at large still mocks it and calls it a bizarre, overactive, ridiculous theatrics which is sad. We need to spread the word on American Sign Language being it's own viable language and not "translated English".
If you're eager to learn some more signs I applaud you, but warn you from rushing to YouTube and clicking some random video. Some videos on there are done by students still learning themselves and have been showing the wrong signs. I suggest the following sites:
